Barbara Jeanne Delane

Barbara Jeanne DeLane, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away peacefully in New Braunfels on December 16, 2022 at the age of 89. She was born March 31, 1933 in Aberdeen, Washington to Orville E. Wilson and Mildred Boudin Wilson. She was a longtime employee for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation from which she retired at the age of 83. Barbara was incredibly loved by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed holidays and time spent with family, and she never forgot a birthday! She also liked to spend time in her yard gardening. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Laurance and Donald Wilson. She is survived by her siblings, Sue Kay and John Wilson, her sister-in-law, Judie Wilson, her daughters, Cynthia DeLane and Sandra (Greg) Walker, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A celebration of life for Barbara will be held in Spring 2023 in the state of Washington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org or 1-800-272-3900.
