Barbra Jean Cummings
September 7, 1982 ~ January 25, 2016
Barbra Jean Cummings left us to meet our Lord, Jesus Christ on January 25, 2016.
She was thirty-three years old. She was born Barbra Jean Forbess in New Braunfels, Texas on September 7, 1982 to Elizabeth J. Muenich and Alan Forbess. She is survived by: her husband of ten years; William H. Cummings; three children; Jillyn; William; and Gemma. She is also survived by her parents, Elizabeth and Edward Sanchez; siblings and spouses; Amber Forbess, Michael and Ryan Kelli Lathe; James and Jessica Sanchez; nieces and nephews, Bryce Sanchez, Benson Sanchez, and Logan Lathe.
Barbra attended Canyon High School in New Braunfels and received her diploma. She was a loving wife and mother to her family, always making sure her children were happy. She also loved animals and ensured that any homeless cats or dogs that crossed her path were fed. She worked hard to help support her family but mostly spent her time as a homemaker. She was very close to her mother, Elizabeth, calling her every day and ending the conversation with, "I love you".
Barbra's unexpected departure, has left her family and friends with an emptiness that can only be filled by the belief that she has joined our Lord Jesus Christ in paradise. Barbra will be missed dearly by many.
We love you and will always miss you Barbra.
The service will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, in New Braunfels, Texas. A reception will follow at Cypress Bend Park.
Billy I’m so sorry to hear about Barbra 🙁 I am here for y’all if you need me.
I am terribly sorry for the loss of Barbara. My deepest sympathies. Revelation 21:4 tells us what God will soon do: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
I am truly sorry to hear about your passing, your laugh is the one thing I remember about you most! Rest in peace and my condolences to your family, I pray for peace during this difficult time.
