  1. To the family of Betty L.Loshe I and my parents knew Betty & another lady Shirley Stewart from the bank they used to have at Randolph she was always a sweet person and so very helpful I will miss her !! She and Shirley used to have so much fun!!I am sorry for your Loss may the Lord comfort & give you peace during this time..Dea Skelton

  2. We consider ourselves blessed to have spent the last couple years as her neighbors. She brought so much joy to Piper and is missed terribly. We will always remember her humor, energy, dignity and grace. Her presence made our neighborhood feel like a true community of friends and her absence is felt throughout. May the Lord’s face shine upon her and give her peace- and may He comfort her family and friends with fond and humor filled memories.

  3. Such a beautiful person! I loved how Betty would often say “Hey…” as she was telling you or asking you something! She always had my attention. Now she and Mel can share together in their eternal reward through Christ Jesus. It was an honor and privilege to be their Pastor and friend. In reality, we’re not that far behind them … so I look forward to seeing them both again in God’s perfect timing. Enjoy your new eternal home, sweet lady!

  4. Each morning, I look outside my front window and feel sadness again knowing that I won’t be seeing Betty outside, sitting in her chair on her front porch and is no longer with us. Words cannot express the sorrow and sadness we feel at the loss of our wonderful friend and neighbor.

  5. We bought our first home as a married couple 5 years ago right next door to Betty. We couldn’t have been more lucky. She came right over, introduced herself, and gave us lots of encouragement as we tackled this new adventure. She taught us exactly what it meant to be a good neighbor. She knew our family, our friends, our dogs, and our lives. We will miss her terribly, but will always have fond memories of our first home and our sweet neighbor Betty.

  6. We got to enjoy almost 5 years of being Betty’s neighbor, and getting to do life with her was such a blessing to our family. I liked to joke with Betty that she was the mascot of our neighborhood. She lived out the idea of “loving your neighbor as yourself” with such authenticity. We met because my little girl had run down towards the cul de sac and fallen, and before I could even get there myself Betty was there, with a box of bandaids in hand. Betty was so generous and thoughtful. My kids never left her house without a childrens book or a popsicle (often both!) in hand, and she has clothed our daughters more beautifully than the lilies in handed-down nightgowns from her great granddaughters. We know Betty is with Jesus and has gone to an exceedingly great reward, but the cul de sac just feels echoey without her walking Piper to our mailbox or running the license plates of unrecognized cars to make sure they weren’t up to mischief in her territory. We can’t open a popsicle or a bandaid (which, with 3 very energetic kids, is very VERY often) without thinking of our Neighbor Betty. I know that in the Father’s house there are many rooms- I only hope we get to be neighbors with Betty there too.
