Born in:
Vernal, Utah
Resided in:
Los Angeles, CA
Bruce C. Hadlock was born July 27, 1962 in Vernal, Utah. He departed for his heavenly home May 16, 2024 in Los Angeles, California.
Bruce was just six weeks old when the family moved to Texas and New Braunfels became home. He melted hearts with his big, beautiful eyes and mischievous smile. He loved baseball, hunting and fishing trips and, most of all, his family.
Then came the teen years and he struggled. He made some bad choices. His life went off the rails for a few years. Fast forward to a changed life. He moved to California, got sober through AA and married the love of his life. He volunteered and helped troubled youth and mentored hundreds of adults through addictions for the last 25 years of his life.
Bruce worked for Dewey Pest Control in Los Angeles for 24 years. He was still employed at the time of his death and so loved and respected by his work family and customers. Everyone loved his giving heart and that forever smile. Bruce was a member of the LDS church in New Braunfels.
He is survived by his loving wife, Yolanda Hadlock, his son Danny Hadlock, Stepdaughter Jennifer Bounds, parents Lonney and Marlianne Hadlock, brother Scott Hadlock and nieces Erica Yates and Hayley Pappas, and brother Jason Hadlock, his wife Rashmi and nieces Dahlia Hadlock and Ellora Hadlock, and sister Cindy Hadlock, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Kenneth and Velda Hadlock and Wanda Gamble, two uncles Bruce and Bret Hadlock and his Aunt Lisa Hadlock.
Bruce leaves a void in the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great in his unfailing love. ~ Lamentations 3:32

To the Family- Bruce was our technician for over 15 years. He was such a wonderful person and so kind and sweet. He always had the biggest smile on his face. I always appreciated it.
We are so very sorry for your loss.

I am saddened to hear about the loss of Bruce and am shocked to hear about this. Even though we were separated over the years, I consider him to have been wonderful neighbor. My condolences to the rest of the family and friends
My heart goes out to your family. Bruce serviced our home and always was the kindest, sweetest man ready with a smile. Thank you for your help over the years. May he rest in peace.
Bruce and I began working in Marina del Rey just a month apart over 20 years ago. From the very start, he was the most delightful person to come across. He had a small and pleasant comment for everyone he met, always brightening our days with his cheerful demeanor. We truly loved the energy and positivity he brought to our community, and his absence will be deeply felt by all of us.
During this incredibly difficult time, we wish his loved ones all the patience and peace they need to navigate through their grief. Bruce’s memory will forever remain in our hearts, and we will cherish the impact he had on our lives.
With deepest sympathy,
