Caleb Lee Lohmeier passed away on October 29, 2023 in San Marcos at the age of 28. He was born on May 10, 1995, in Austin to Mark and Teresa Lohmeier.
Raised in between New Braunfels and Seguin, Caleb developed an early passion for jigsaw puzzles that led to complex Lego construction (Star Wars genre). On his own, he created a YouTube channel to display his Star Wars stop motion films that he wrote, directed and produced, one of which garnered over 1.4 million views and legions of admirers. His laser focus then turned to concerts, films and music where he was a self-taught keyboardist.
Caleb worked at the Walmart Distribution Center for 8 years. His last employer was CFAN where he was learning to build airplane parts.
Always a cat lover, Caleb was kind, generous and we will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.
Caleb is survived by his parents Mark and Teresa Lohmeier, sister Heather Anderson, brother-in-law Nolan Anderson, and nephews Austin and Jackson Anderson.
He is preceded in death by his sister Kemery Lohmeier, maternal grandmother Alice Evers, and paternal grandparents David and Charna Lohmeier.
I remember when I first met him. He wanted to show me his Leggos. He was such a cool little kid. May he soar high with the angels. Rest in heaven. 🙏🙌💙
Such a handsome young man!
I am in shock. He was so quiet when Omer him. After a few visits he opened up and talked to me. We talked about movies we had seen and enjoyed!
We are devastated for your loss and are here for anything you need.
I don’t have the words sweet friend. My heart aches for you and your family. Lots of love and prayers.
My heart is broken for your sweet family in this devastating loss. I always thought of Caleb as being highly intelligent and extremely focused. How he could micro move a Lego character, take a picture, then move it again for hours on end. He could make a story, create the drama and be the mastermind behind it all. Wow, what patience!
I am praying for God to wrap His loving arms around each one of you at this very difficult time.
