Carol Jean Sutter

Carol Jean Sutter, age 74, of New Braunfels, TX, formerly Rochester, NY, passed away on November 12, 2024 surrounded by family after a courageous four year battle with ALS.
Carol, the eldest daughter of Harry and Shirley Sonnemann, was born on October 28, 1950. Carol is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Sutter; daughter, Gwendolyn Trusz (Theodore); sisters, Joyce Lundeen (Mark) and Patricia Brown; and grandchildren, Lucas and Owen Trusz.
Carol received degrees from both the University of Virgina and St. Louis University. She started her career as a Certified Nurse Midwife and later utilized her passion for helping people to build a successful career as a Certified Financial Planner. Carol was known for her integrity and putting her clients first. This led to her being recognized for forty years of dedicated service as a financial advisor.
In addition to her work, Carol had a passion for competitive dancing. She participated in multiple ice dancing and ballroom dancing competitions throughout the United States and Canada.
Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
