Caroline “Genny” Harris
Nov. 19, 1960 – March 22, 2024

Caroline Eugenia Harris passed away on March 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brandy Harris, her brother, Wilson “Willy” Hall, and her father, Wilson Eugene Hall. Caroline is survived by her daughters Kelly Robinson of Houston, Tx, and Hannah Petty of El Campo, TX, her mother, Caroline Hall of Columbus, Georgia, and her brother, Charles Hall, and sister Alex Delaney both of Atlanta, Georgia.

Caroline, known as Genny to her family, was born at Ft. Benning, Georgia and raised in a military family. She graduated from Spencer High School, in Columbus, Georgia and received her nursing license through Wharton County Junior College School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Caroline moved to New Braunfels to enjoy the natural beauty the hill country has to offer. In the summer she often enjoyed tubing the river and spending many fun late nights singing loudly with her best friend, Nora. She cared about animals, she loved her dogs Betsy and Lily who she will be reunited with. She even made sure the mice, birds and squirrels in her back yard were well fed and cared for. Her lively laugh, big smile, and a sharp attitude will be greatly missed. She was a strong woman who overcame much adversity and still found the beautiful moments in life and had faith in God.

A private viewing will take place at the Lux Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Tx on Wednesday, April 3rd with close family. A funeral service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Houston at 12pm on Friday, April 5th where friends, family, and coworkers are welcome to say goodbye and celebrate her life.
