Cathy Hipsher

Cathy Jean Hipsher, age 81, passed away on June 12, 2026.

Born on November 16, 1944, Cathy lived a life defined by love and devotion to those she cared about. Above all else, she was a mother. Her family was the center of her world, and nothing brought her greater pride than their accomplishments and happiness.

Cathy enjoyed sewing, cooking, and watching sports whenever she had the chance. She was known for her intelligence, kindness, and loyalty, along with a wonderful sense of humor and just enough feistiness to keep things interesting. She was a loving mother, a proud grandmother, a loyal friend, and someone whose presence brought comfort to those around her.

She is survived by her children, George Ernest Hipsher of New Braunfels, Texas; Guy Edwin Hipsher of San Antonio, Texas; and Ginger Hipsher Browning of New Braunfels, Texas. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, TJ Hipsher of Buda, Texas, and Jason Hipsher of Austin, Texas; and by her brothers, Mike Devoss and John Devoss.

Cathy was immensely proud of her family and treasured the time she spent with them. Her love, encouragement, laughter, and steady presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.

The family finds comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind and in knowing that her legacy lives on through the lives she touched.
