Charles Dwaine Seiter, 64, of New Braunfels, Tx Passed away on Sunday January 14, 2024. Surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born February 13, 1959 In San Antonio Texas. Charlie grew up in Comal County and graduated from Canyon high school in the class of 1977. Charlie was also an active member of the Kypfer-Salge Hermann Sons Lodge here in New Braunfels.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother Ellen Ritzoff and his Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Milton Pete Seiter. He is survived by his wife, Tammy and his son Charles D. Seiter II., Brother-In-Law Skylar Koepp and wife Deborah and their Children Kourtney Bierschwale (Chad), Kyle Koepp (Janessa), Kameron (Bethanny) and 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew.

Charlie worked at Union pacific for many years then had to retire early at age 52 due to his back injury. He loved his shop he had built 7 years ago and would spend his mornings out there welding and fixing things or making crosses for me. The shop was his man cave you would find him their at 6pm watching tv because he could watch his favorite shows like All In The Family and M*A*S*H and drinking a cold Miller High Lite. Charlie had a green thumb for gardening and in his garden you would find tomatoes, white squash and would have lots of dill to share with the neighbors. Charlie was a good cook and even better pit master. He loved making briskets. Charlie had a 1977 Harley that we would take and ride to the grocery store back when we were young and on the way back home I would have the groceries in my right hand and my left arm would be holding Charlie tight around his waist.

I want to thank the staff at Resolute Hospital for everything they did for my Charlie. I also want to thank my Sister-In-Law Deborah Koepp for coming to the hospital every morning and talking to the doctors and comforting me.

Guestbook

  1. Gone too young. But now in the arms of God in comfort and no pain. You will be missed. Praying for the ones left behind. Your children, wife and brother-in-law Skyler along with the rest of your family. God be with you during this time of grief. Instead remember the good times and celebrate his life, the joy he brought you in his short time on this earth. I will be doing the same thing, remembering the Good times!
