Darline Freida Berg, 94, of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014 in New Braunfels. Born on April 28, 1920 in Lamar, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late David F. and Mary Helen Jones Steele. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip E. Berg.
Darline is survived by her daughters, Phyllis B. Smith and Joan M. King; five grandchildren, Rick Baskin, Robin Thomas, Wendy McFarland, Terri Toman and Pamela Connelly; and nine great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at First Baptist Church in New Braunfels, where she was a long time member. Per the wishes of the family, interment at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park will be private.
