David spent most of his childhood in Pecos and Ft Stockton. He held various jobs and loved to travel. He was known to be a 'free spirit' and loved to listen to Tejano music, play golf and pool, and spent a lot of his time working on classic cars, especially his Chevy 67 Impala. David was usually the life of the party and loved to barbeque and entertain friends, but his greatest pride and joy were his girls. He would do anything to keep his girls happy and loved to be involved in their sports. David was also a member of the Knights of Columbus while he lived in La Vernia. David is preceded in death by his mom, Lorie Fierro. David is survived by his three children, Chris, Miranda and Baylie; his Dad, Gabriel T. Fierro; and his three brothers, Danny, Gabriel and James. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Kirkwood Manor, who loved David and took great care of him, Harbor Hospice, who were very supportive and caring during his last few months, and the ALS support group from Austin. A very special thanks goes to his former wife, Cindy Fierro, who was there to help care for him and allowed him to feel love during his most difficult journey.

Guestbook

  1. We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

  2. I know first-hand the cruel side effects of ALS. The only blessing from all of this is that David is finally at rest and at peace mentally and physically. He was a very nice young man and a fun classmate! Knowing the kind of person he was, I know he fought a valiant battle with ALS, while trying his best to keep a positive attitude. My heart goes out to his family and children. May you find comfort in faith, family, and friends.

  3. We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers as you grieve for your father, son and brother. Danny and Karla Ellis
