David Scott Cannon

David Scott Cannon, a resident of Schertz, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Silver Tree Nursing Home in Schertz at the age of 66. David was born on April 7, 1951 in San Antonio to Cecil Cannon and Ella Burgess Cannon. David began his professional career as a maintenance operator with the San Antonio Light newspaper and then with the San Antonio Express newspaper as a maintenance supervisor-a career spanning some 50-years. David was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Ella Cannon and by his brother, Mike Cannon. Survivors include his loving wife, Diana Cannon; daughters, Megan Davis and husband Will and Kristen Cannon and Cody; step-son, Corey Mosley and wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, Shayne, Storey and baby Brennen. In addition, David is also survived by his sister, Sandee and her husband, Ric. Memorial services are scheduled for 7:00 PM on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel.
