Debbie June Moser
May 14, 1952 ~ May 25, 2020
Debbie June Moser, 68, of New Braunfels, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2020 at her home with family surrounding her. Debbie was born on May 14, 1952 in Henrietta, Texas; she was the daughter of the late Clyde Hargis and June Fowler Hargis.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gene Moser; her daughter Mindy Moser-Dubicki; her grandchildren, Aaron Moser, Benjamin Dubicki, Lillian Dubicki and Casen Dubicki; her sister Kathy Thames, her nephews Chris Thames and Shane Thames and her niece, Amanda Thames.
My mom was the strongest woman Iโve ever met. She was a fighter and a warrior. She loved her family more than anyone I know. She loved and lived life to the fullest. One of her passions was the great outdoors, and she loved traveling, camping in her camper, hiking, and kayaking. Mom loved catching the biggest fish and beating my dad at pickle ball, well beating him at anything really. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She taught them so much in the short amount of time they had with her. The memories of baking, sewing and her love for the outdoors will always be in their hearts.
Her life was a living example of Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 โ โAnd be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.โ
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel.

Debbie was a dear person to us all and I am so very sorry that her passing has been premature. She was deeply loved and such a sweet, classmate from HHS. I loved to watch her play BB. Truly a champ and example for us all. Praying that your precious memories will comfort you all. Gene, I know that this is a very difficult time for you and pray for your peace. Kathy Cockrell Nida
Mindy, I lost track of your mom after her HHS graduation. I knew your sets of your grandparents – the Moser and Thames. Your aunt, Kathy, was my classmate. Prayers for Gene, Kathy, you, and the grandchildren. ๐ Peace be with you all. ~ Janie Clayton, HHS #72
Sending sincerest sympathy and love to Gene, Mindy and family. Debbie was one of the kindest women I have ever known with a quiet strength. Time spent with she and Gene were always full of laughter and they have been two of our dearest family friends. She will be dearly missed. Gone too soon. Praying for you, Gene, and your family. Love, Lindsey (Wiegand) Lackey
