Dezerey Ashley Rodriguez, a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 27. Dezerey was born on January 29, 1987 in New Braunfels to Martin Rodriguez and Denise Aldana. Dezerey had a passion for helping others. As a result, she chose a career in the medical field, working as a certified nursing assistant. Dezerey was preceded in death by her grandfather, Juan Rodriguez. Survivors include her beloved children, Isidro, Felipe and Mia Patino, and by their father, Frankie Patino; parents, Martin and Denise; grandparents, Gilbert and Hope Aldana and Betty Rodriguez; brothers, Vincent, Garrett and Gabriel Rodriguez; life partner, Alex Paredes and his children, Andrea Marie Paredes, Alyssa Marie Paredes and Aviana Lynnae Paredes. In addition, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins survive Dezerey as well. At the family's request, services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society-www.cancer.org/donate, the Ronald McDonald House-www.rmhc.org. or to Scoobies For Boobies-http://scoobiesforboobies.org.

Dezerey, I am saddened by your departure and I know this was not an easy life for you and for this I am sad you suffered.I will remember you as a child always. I remember Dezerey as a beautiful girl full of life. She always had a wide smile and was very polite. I’m sure her family is devastated. Jana and I send our condolences, and hope the family sees Gods love.
