“Doris Gayle Adkins went on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 26, 2024 after an almost year long battle with terminal cancer.
She is preceded in death by her parents (Leata Mae and Frank Stair), in-laws (Vernon and Ethel Adkins) and siblings-in-law (Kenneth Adkins, Sue Adkins, Don Adkins, Lee Easley and Robert Pownall).
Doris is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Adkins, her son and daughter-in-love, Jonathan and Elizabeth Adkins, and her precious granddaughters, Lillian and Olivia Adkins.
Aside from her immediate family, Doris will also be deeply missed by her siblings (Joyce, Shiela, Sharon, Sandra, and Darlene), her grandchildren-in-love (Tessa, Silas, Elizabeth, George, Aiden, and Miles), and numerous other family members and friends.
While her family is deeply saddened by the loss of her wonderful soul, they are relieved to know that she is finally at peace.
A private family service will be held in the near future.”

I am sorry to hear of Doris passing. She was such a nice and caring person and was a great neighbor to my parents when they were still living. My thoughts and prayer are with her family.
