Dustin Phillip Ortiz

DUSTIN PHILLIP ORTIZ Dustin Phillip Ortiz, a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at his home at the age of 32. Dustin was born on April 28, 1984 in New Braunfels to Robert Ortiz, Jr. and Donna Spicer. Dustin worked alongside his father in the ranching industry for most of his working career. Dustin truly loved being on the ranch. His love for family, animals and his kind heart is what we all will remember. Dustin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Stanley Phillip Spicer and Robert Ortiz, Sr. Survivors include his parents, Donna and Kenneth Kerr and father, Robert Ortiz, Jr.; sons, Donovan Cruz, Tristan Zachariah Lopez and Mateo Ortiz; daughter, Sophia Ortiz; sister, Leslie Ortiz Meyers; brothers, Jayson Ortiz and Justin Ortiz. In addition, Dustin is also survived by his grandmother, Nelda Spicer. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Grace Memorial Church, 3240 FM 725 in New Braunfels, followed by the funeral service, which will begin at 3:00 PM. All services will end at the conclusion of the funeral service on Thursday afternoon. Until we meet again-Dustin, you will remain in our hearts forever!
