Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. What a wonderful person. She was also a teacher of mine. She was kind and inspiring. She will be missed by many.

  2. It has been great to see all of the fond memories of Mrs. Trigg on facebook. I hope her family gets a chance to see the impact she has made on all of us. She is definitely unforgettable and loved by her students. I will never forget her. Thank you for being a part of my life, Mrs. Trigg!

  3. Earla Trigg was one of my best friends when we taught at Ralston high school. We share many breakfasts together. Linda Jensen

  4. I am late to hear about Ms. Trigg’s passing, but I was a student of her’s at Ralston High in the mid-1970s. I majored in chemistry and made it my life’s work because of the fire she lit under me (literally, when she was throwing sodium metal into water!). I got my B.S. and Ph.D. in organic chemistry from UW Madison, did a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford, taught at Univ California for a number of years and left to go into biotech in 1994. I am now at the long tail of my career, after having founded 6 biotech companies and having many wonderful adventures around the world, and I can say it all started from Ms. Trigg’s chemistry class at RHS. I still use her song of the periodic table when I am thinking of various elements (HLiNaKRbCsFr……..). Many thanks Ms. Trigg!!
