Francisca Robles

Francisca Robles, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Sundance Inn Health Center in New Braunfels at the age of 92. Francisca was born on January 19, 1924 in Villa Union Coahuila, Mexico to Jose Garza and Maria Santos Garza. She later married the love of her life, Ruperto Robles on August 24, 1945. She was a seamstress for Liz Ann Dress Manufacturing of New Braunfels for many years. She was also a member of the Guadalupanas Society of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of New Braunfels and a member of the Union Funebre de Familia, also of New Braunfels. Francisca was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Esperanza Guerrero and Petra "Pura" Santos and by her brothers, Felix Garza and Jesus Garza. Survivors include her loving husband of 71-years, Ruperto Robles; children, Jesus Andres Robles and wife, Annette, Gilberto Robles and wife, Alma Rosa and Maria Escobedo and husband, Rey; grandchildren, Gilbert, Rosemary, Rodney and wife, Velma, Laura and husband, Vince, Cynthia and husband, Anthony, Joseph and wife, Shanda and Joshua. In addition, Francisca is also survived by 15-great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Lux Funeral Home and on Monday morning, September 12, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Mausoleum.

Mrs Robles was a very sweet and kind lady. She sewed a beautiful wedding dress for me many years ago. Thinking of all of you in your time of sorrow.
