Franklin Verne Fullenwider, Sr., 65, of San Marcos, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at his home. Born on February 1, 1958 in Gardena, California, he was the son of Robert Wesley Fullenwider and Sarah Marie Fullenwider.

Franklin is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda Fullenwider; children, Sarah Jean Henry, Franklin Fullenwider, Jr. and his wife Felecia, and Teresa Fitzjerald; grandchildren, Cilicia, Brandon, Mason, and Zachary Fullenwider, Lexie and Gavin Slocum, and Avery, Londyn, and Levi Fitzjerald; mother, Sarah Fullenwider; brothers, Steve Fullenwider, and Robert Fullenwider; sister, Michelle Seiler-Tucker; mother-in-law, Dorothy Johnson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and countless friends in the faith.

Franklin was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wesley Fullenwider, son-in-law, Christopher Louis Fitzjerald, and father-in-law Reuben Johnson.

He was baptized in May 1973 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

There will be a memorial service at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 18262 Tx Hwy 80, Martindale, TX 78655 on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM. There will be a private family interment at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Hospice Austin staff and his caregiver, Mona Ortega for their dedicated care and compassion. Also many thanks to the staff at Rescare Premier for the Rehab care they provided for him over the six years he was there. The family would also like to thank the Congregation for all their love and support during this difficult time.
