Gilberto C. Rosales

Gilberto C. Rosales, 66, of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 28, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan, he was the son of the late Pablo Rosales, Sr. and Maria Castilleja Rosales.
Gilberto is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Y. Rosales; children, Gilbert Y. Rosales, Jr. (Gil), and his wife Rebecca, and Doralisa R. Obello (Dorie) and her husband, Gian; grandchildren, Micah, Mariah, Kaylah, and Kaleb; brothers, Paul Rosales, Felipe Rosales, Anselmo Rosales, and Armando Rosales; sisters, Olivia Vega, Elida Tristan, and Lorenza Urias.
In addition to his parents, Gilberto is preceded in death by his brother, Alejandro Rosales, and sister, Isabel Gaitan.
He retired from working at New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) after 30 years. Through the time he worked there, he made a lot of friends. He is also a loyal servant of Jehovah. Through his last trials in life, he maintained his integrity and walked on Jehovah's righteous standards. He did not give up. He remained faithful to Jehovah. Gilbert's hobbies were fishing, fixing old antiques and landscaping. He loved working outdoors, loved to work with his hands and he loved music and dancing. He valued family and friendship and most importantly, he loved his wife Linda of 44 years.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Kingdom Hall in New Braunfels.
