Gregorio Rodriguez, 40, of Schertz, TX, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at his home in Schertz. Born on May 14, 1976 in New Braunfels, he was the son of Juana Maria Escalera Rodriguez and the late Luis Rodriguez. In addition to his mother, Gregorio is survived by his wife, Regina Rodriguez; children, Marco A. Rodriguez, Gregorio Rodriguez, Jr., Noah R. Rodriguez, and Dominic Rodriguez; brothers, Luis I. Rodriguez, Juan A. Rodriguez, and the Soldado brothers. Including his father, Gregorio is also preceded in death by his sisters-in-law, Melissa E. Rodriguez, and Antonia Espinoza. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel with the rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. All services will conclude at the end of the viewing on Sunday.

Gregorio was a wonderful husband and father and friend. I am glad to have known him and very sad at his death. I pray Gods mercy and love to be present for him and his family and friends.

Our hearts and prayers are with Gregorio’s friends and family in this time of loss. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Nothing can stop the pain of losing someone you love, but I have found that it is comforting to meditate on Jesus words at John 5:28-29. How good it is to know that our loving Heavenly Father has promised to reunite us with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death and that Gregorio is safe in his memory, awaiting a return to perfect life.
