My thoughts and prayers are with Hulene’s family and friends. I had the pleasure of knowing Hulene for almost 40 years. She was a loving, beautiful person inside and out. She loved life and will truly be missed! What an honor it was to be part of her life!
I was one of the ladies who brought a small amount of food and visited Hulene, but the second time I came she was at an appointment. I did get to visit with Juanice that time, but did not make it back after that. We were gone on a trip when the Memorial Service was held, but I do want to express our sympathy. Even though Hulene is in a better place and out of suffering, all of her family will miss being able to visit with her on this earth. Even in her suffering, she was pleasant to talk to and really appreciated our concern. She wanted to return to being active in church and even be one of our “care team” members. She would have done a good job because she understood what it was to really be sick. I hope all of her family will remember the good times and think of her with happy memories. Again, my sympathy. To Hulene’s Family, I just learned about Hulene’s passing and wanted to extend our deepest sympathy. Hulene was a special person to our family, and a wonderfully kind person. We lost touch over the years, but wanted you to know that we cared about her. God’s blessings to you all. Sincerely, Linda & Mark Washington
