Janette Jennusa Singleton was born on July 12, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas, to Tony and Catherine Jennusa. She departed this life at home with her granddaughter on July 7, 2022, just a few days shy of her 94th birthday, surrounded by her daughter and great grandchildren. She is now happily residing in her heavenly home with her loving husband of 64 years, Jan, daughter, Karen, and son, David. Janette and her husband resided in the Golden Triangle most of their married life and were blessed with two girls, Karen and Susan, and one son, David. She busied herself raising her children, attending church, sewing, reading, painting landscapes, and writing poetry. They built a home on the banks of Sam Rayburn Lake in East, Texas, where she and Jan enjoyed their days together working puzzles, fishing, and visiting with family. They relocated to the Richmond, Rosenberg area to be near their daughter, Karen and Janette continued to reside there following the passing of her husband in 2011 and son in 2016. She eventually moved to New Braunfels, Texas to be with her daughter, Susan, granddaughter, Leslie, and great grandchildren. Janette was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who were blessed to have been in her presence. She was a graceful, elegant, faithful woman of God her whole life who will be dearly missed and forever adored. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Stauffacher and husband Rick, granddaughter, Leslie Westbrook and great grandchildren, Lauryn, Jesse and Jake Westbrook, all of New Braunfels, Texas, and grandson, Mark Campbell of Katy, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Catherine Jennusa, husband, Jan Singleton, daughter, Karen Stell, son, David Singleton, and sisters Josie Cricchio and Marie Willis.
