Javier Morales
September 28, 1972 ~ September 5, 2023
Javier T. Morales went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5th. He was along side his brother Ivan and his long time sweetheart Audrey Camacho, her mom Del and their dog Trina. Javier had passion for playing the drums, listening to all types of music including Jazz drum greats like Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa and Max Roach. He played the drums in band in HS and competed in various State competitions. He turned his brothers on at an early age to the Canadian trio Rush as well as other artists. He and his brothers enjoyed his love of music as well going back and forth sharing music with those around him. Other interests included taking apart and upgrading computers and cooking.
He attended two years North Texas State in Denton studying music. Javier later was a member of the U.S. Army Hell Cats Jazz Band in West Point New York. He excelled at percussion while there. He was convinced to join the Army after a local recruiter heard his tapes – he was offered an invite on the spot! This is where he met Audrey. They fell in love and he convinced her to move to Texas.
