Jim was so special a friend, that we called him “brother”. We loved him and he loved us; but nothing could compare to the love and happiness he found with his son. His friendship, his wisdom, his witty humor and all his quirks will be greatly missed.
I just wonder if this is the same Jim Harris that live in Belton in the early 80s? if he is was a family friends with my parents at that time. for a few years then he move off to New Braunfels around 1984. I was around 11 Jim and my parents were friends I remember Jim well he drove a baby blue ford truck he just brought at that time so it was around 1980 or 1981. and he use to let me ride around in the back of it when him and my dad would drive around. both me and my dad have not seen Jim since 1985 or 86 but talk about him from time to time. this is sad so young.
