Juan Ramirez Herrera, age 70, and a resident of New Braunfels, passed away Monday afternoon, March 3, 2025, at Resolute Health Hospital in New Braunfels. Juan was born on April 15, 1954, in San Antonio to the late Trinidad Herrera and Andrea Ramirez Herrera.
Juan graduated from Judson High School in Converse and played on the baseball team. Later, during his professional career, Juan was employed as a welder. He was preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad and Andrea Herrera. Survivors include cousins, Mike Lopez and wife, Mary Montez Lopez, Frances Rodriguez and husband, Joaquin, Linda Moreno and numerous additional cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery.
