Katalina L. Ortiz, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 79. Katalina was born on February 18, 1934 to Juan and Gegoria Luna. She later married Thomas P. Ortiz. Katalina is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas P. Ortiz; son, Juan Ortiz; sister, Dolores Sanchez and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
