Linda B. Sorensen, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at her home in New Braunfels, Tx. at the age of 76. Linda was born on February 27, 1939 in Kingston, NY to the late Carl Beatty and Frieda Beatty. She is survived by her daughters, Lori Sorensen, Lynn Sorensen, Lisa Sorensen, Lesli Sorensen-Byers; son, John Sorenson , Jr . (Debbie); grandchildren, Juliana Sorensen, Kaitlyn Carter, Travis Carter, Douglas Byers, Jacob Cronin; brother, Carl Beatty (Marlene); and niece, Alonna Beatty. A time to greet the family will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Cornerstone Church, 18755 Stone Oak Parkway in San Antonio, with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. A reception will be held at the church immediately following the funeral service. Interment is scheduled for 3:00 PM at Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels.
