Linda Mata

Linda Mata, age 53, passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Linda was born on January 17, 1971 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Tomas Mata and Rosa Trejo Mata.

She loved to make conversation, listen to music, read her bible and pray, but most of all she loved being with and spending time with all of her grandchildren. She was a very strong woman who always put others needs before her own, and because of this she will always be remembered and missed dearly by her loved ones.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Christian Mata and Marcos Mata; grandchildren Christian Mata, Johnny Mata, Jeriah Mata, Jonas Mata, Silas Mata, and Navanya Mata; and her closest and dearest siblings, Sandra Mata and Tomas Mata.

Visitation will be on Saturday August 31, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM with a Rosary and Service at 4:00 PM at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel.
