Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I will miss you Lori B/Glory B! Now you are with your Lord and Savior, in a perfect body. Thank you for being a great friend and counselor. I already miss our daily texts and memes. Love you!

  2. Your memory is in my heart forever Lori. God will call us all home who believe, one by one. Until we see you again, home in Heaven, love you so much. Vince.

  3. One of many fond memories I have of you is after coming off the mission field you purchased a used kayak and decided to take some river adventures with it not knowing anything about it! Thank you for being a friend to me and always encouraging me!

  4. My heart breaks as I said goodbye to my best friend. Lori and I had an awesome friendship for nearly 40 years. I could write a book about everything we did. She is with our Lord. See you in heaven, dear friend.

  5. Every time I was in your presence, there was a sense of peace and joy
Your aura was always warm and inviting
I only knew you a short period of time but the way we hit it off and looked forward to our next visit was as if we knew each other our entire lives
Your laughter and sense of humor goes unmatched
I witnessed so much love and kindness from so many people spending time with you and reminiscing all the good times shared with you
You will be missed my friend
I know you are rejoicing in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and those who left before you
    Love you
    Jennifer ❤️

  6. My sweet friend-I am flooded with so many thoughts of you and memories of our good times. I am so thankful for the incredible gift you have been to me Lori. You chose to be my friend at a time when I was wavering on the edge of a selfish chasm of worldly pursuits. You walked with me along the edge of that chasm and beckoned me to the Jesus you were coming to know and love. I am deeply grateful for our friendship. I am also so aware of the times God used you to clarify His direction in my life by speaking truth into my life. Recently I had a dream that God was asking me to release back to Him a gift he had shared with me. You are that gift Lori.

I love you so much my friend. I will always be so grateful that God made a way for me to spend time with you those last days before I even knew what was going on with you. Spending those hours with you was a treasure to me. You were still the Lori who laughed and appreciated the all-encompassing word “stuff” and often thought in cartoon pictures and made sure I shared our food with your caretaker. Your faith continued to be an inspiration. You had absolute confidence to see Jesus. And He faithfully and mercifully called you out peacefully when it was time.

My song with you has been “FLY” by Robin Mark (Psalm 139:1-18).

Thank you for waiting for me Lori. ❤️ I love you so much. I hope your homecoming continues to be so sweet and wonderful and you get hugs from Jesus himself who says, “Well done Lori. I love you. Welcome home and be healed.”

Lori left midnight March 11. God gifted me with 6 days of visits with her. More time together than we’d had in years! Then she began to “disconnect” and God faithfully and mercifully had two dear friends, Jodi and Carmelita, and her caregiver, Maria, holding her hands and head as she took her last breath and left to be with her faithful friend Jesus. Her Savior. Her Healer. The Lover of her soul. Her Father. Her Holy Spirit. Her Joy. Her King. Her Good Shepherd. Her Peace. And whatever other wonderful things beyond what we have ever seen, heard, or imagined that He has ready for those who love him. I Co 2:9

Some of my last message from Lori: God knew I needed you. Thank you for that beautiful note. I guess I fell asleep. But can’t wait to see you tomorrow. Me: I’ll be there. 😊❤️
