Louis Marshall

Louis V. "Shorty" Marshall of Canyon Lake left to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the age of 71. He was born to Gilbert D. and Ludie L. Marshall. Louis, also known as L.V., was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert D.; two brothers, Dennis and Joe, and a sister, Betty Lu Marshall. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; his mother, Ludie Marshall; sister, Olivia Maxwell and 6 children. He has three sons, Mark Faske and wife Sherry, Arthur L. Miller and Allan R. Miller and wife Shari; three daughters, Tina Burkhart with husband Michael, Deanna Titsworth with husband Mike, and Sabrina Miller. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Louis was a hard worker and worked as a truck driver, heavy equipment operator, as well as a construction worker in various areas. He was retired from Colorado Materials. He was always willing to help friends, family and neighbors, for he was a good handyman as well as mechanic and will be missed greatly by many. He enjoyed country music, dancing, trail rides, camping, boating and fishing. He also loved to barbeque and spending quality time with friends and family. A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Startz Caf in Startzville, Tx. on Hwy 2673 at Canyon Lake.
