Lucille Elizabeth Karcher

Lucille Elizabeth Karcher, age 91, and a resident of New Braunfels, passed away Monday afternoon, March 25, 2024 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels. Lucille was born on December 9, 1932 in Westphalia, TX to the late Joseph Holtman and Hattie Sell Holtman. For many years Lucille was employed as a cashier in the grocery store industry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Hattie Holtman; her husband, Larry Karcher, who passed away on May 29, 2005, and by her son, John Clark. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy John; sons, Richard Clark and Michael Clark (Samantha); grandchildren, Ryan Clark, Brianna Hanover (Kyle) and Dennis Lehmann (Amy); great-grandchildren, Kaden Lehmann (Michaela), Jayce Lehmann, Bryce Hanover and Malory Hanover. In addition, Lucille is survived by her great-great-grandson, Jett Hanover, and by her brother, Joe Lee Holtman (Juanell). A time to visit with the family will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
