Luis Moreno

Luis Moreno, 79, of New Braunfels passed away on June 25, 2024. He was born on November 10, 1944 to Leandro and Ester Moreno in New Braunfels, Texas.

Born in New Braunfels his heart was always in San Antonio. He loved cruising around downtown or the westside of San Antonio reminiscing his youth. The stories he could tell a person. He loved low riders and had several cars that he would fix up through out the years. He always loved to dance and would always say he was a “crazy old mexican”. He was El Vato Loco.

He is preceded in death by both his parents. His sister Lillie Moreno. His nephews Johnny and Andrew Moreno. Luis is survived by his wife Juanita Moreno. His children Crystal Salazar, Neto Cardenas, Camila Cardenas, Jazzlynn Cardenas and Maria Urias. As well as multiple grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Lux Funeral Home from 5:00pm-8:00pm, with the Rosary recited at 7:00pm.
