Lynn was born on November 18, 1936, in Alva, Oklahoma to Claude and Vera Robins. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona when she was 7 years old, where she remained until 2019 when she moved to New Braunfels, Texas to be closer to her daughter Ashli. Lynn graduated from West High School in 1954. She was a violinist, and she played in the school orchestra and went on to play in many symphonies and orchestras throughout the years. Lynn was an exceptional quilter, sewing quilts by hand, never used a sewing machine. She enjoyed going to movies and was an avid book reader and loved being in a book club with her friends and daughter Adrianne. She would often swap books with her sister, friends and daughter. She was well known for having a big sweet-tooth.
Lynn worked for many years in Human Resources at Lockheed Martin in Goodyear, AZ. She then went on to work for many years, also in Human Resources, at Sun Health Corporation in Sun City, AZ, where she retired from.
Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth E. Finchum, Jr. Sadly, Ken passed away in 1979 in a tragic car accident only 30 days after they were married. She never stopped thinking or talking about Ken, he was truly the love of her life. She is also preceded in death by her only sibling, sister, Anita Steele, and grandson Andrew. Lynn is survived by daughter Ashli Goodspeed (husband Doug), of New Braunfels, TX and daughter Adrianne Snyder of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Nathan Alvarez of Belton, TX, Garrett Sharley and Maryn Sharley of New Braunfels, TX, Gregory Hicks of Topeka, KS, Kyle Hicks of Ridgecrest, CA, and Talena McGovern of Glendale, AZ. Lynn also has 7 great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jason, Calvin, Gynesis, Laveiya, Logan and Gage. She also has 2 nieces, Erin Pope of Arroyo Grande, CA, Renata Stowell of Phoenix, AZ and a nephew, Mark McCune of Saint Johns, AZ, as well as many great nieces and nephews. Lynn also has many dear, lifelong friends that meant the world to her and are sure to miss her greatly.
A service will be held at the National Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024 on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 10:30am.

Lynn was such a dear friend. Always had the sweetest smile, chuckle & frown. We go back to the time we both worked at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital in the late 70’s. Lynn was so proud of her children & grandchildren. So many memories. Thank you Ashli for taking care of her throughout these last few years. She will always be remembered.
I thank Lynn for memories and friendship going back almost 50 years. She was such a sweet person, but strong and determined as she dealt with what life gave her.
My deepest sympathy to family on the loss of your dear Lynn.
