Magdalena Silguero, 88, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord and Saviour on March 11, 2024. She was the loving wife of Jose Silguero, married 68 years. She was born and raised in Mission, Texas to Sylvester and Hermenia Pena, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her brother Julio Pena. She is survived by siblings Socorro Reyna and Sylvester Pena.

She moved to California with her husband in 1959, where some of her children and grandchildren reside. Magdalena is also survived by her husband Jose, her three sons: Joe, Hector, and Randy; her 9 grandchildren: Nina, Joe, Kelcie, Daniel, Julian, Arlene, Melissa, Randy Jr, and Reyna; and 7 great grandchildren: Adrian, Ariana, Matthew, Joshua, Melrose, Monroe, and Ruby; and 2 great-great grandchildren: Nathaniel and Nikolai. Magdalena and her husband returned to their home state of Texas in 2022. She will be deeply missed. Our sincere thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice who treated her with dignity, patience, and care.

Memorial service will be held on April 20 at 5 pm at Lux Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas.
