Manuel E. Gonzales

Manuel E. Gonzales, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 85. Manuel was born on May 4, 1926 in Laredo to Ilario Gonzales and Francisca Estrada Gonzales. He later married Rita Gonzales, who preceded him in death on April 25, 1993. He is survived by his daughters, Olga Herrera and husband, Braulio, Rachel Salazar and husband, Israel and Terry Rodriguez and husband, Juan. In addition, he is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel, 1254 Business 35 N.
