Marcella FitzGibbon
March 19, 1942 ~ January 5, 2023
Marcella FitzGibbon, born March 19, 1942 in Madison, Wisconsin and currently of New Braunfels, Texas passed peacefully January 5, 2023 with her dog Shadow by her side at her daughter’s home.
Marcella took advantage of limitless opportunities to explore the natural world around her universe and JCPenney. She was a creator of spots for things and friend to everyone who knew her. She loved country music, having coffee with friends and family, and her daily Dove bar.
Such an incredible legacy she gave to all, her two children; Debbie, Patrick; and a special son-in-law, Pete. She enjoyed her grand pets; Sage, Macey, Pippa and Gizmo and of course, her Shadow. She is survived by her sisters; Mary, Delores, Rita, Theresa and favorite brother, Joe. She was preceded in death recently by Snickers, her cat of sixteen years; parents Joseph and Adelia (Koenig) Huber; husband, Robert and son Bob.
According to her wishes, “Burial will be in a ‘pine box’ with cremated remains, because I would be better off.” Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Poynette.
“I'll walk just beyond the moon,
Where I'll stop and wait for you.”
A memorial gathering will be held in Madison, Wisconsin in May.
