Marguerite Cisneros

marguerite cisneros

Marguerite Cisneros, 70, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on August 3, 2025, surrounded by her children and grandchildren at home.

She was born on September 24, 1954, in Lubbock, Texas, to Manuel Cisneros Sr. and Magdalena Cisneros. Marguerite later made her home in New Braunfels, where she built a life centered around love, family, and quiet strength.

She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Cisneros Sr., and her beloved sisters, Rose Marie Cuevas and Helen Morales.

Marguerite is survived by her mother, Magdalena Cisneros; her three children, Monica Andrea Cisneros-Flores, Juan Manuel Cisneros-Ortiz, and Miguel Angel Cisneros-Ortiz; her grandchildren, Nayeli Diaz, Tyli Cisneros, and Araceli Flores; and her brothers, Manuel Cisneros Jr., Patrick Cisneros, and George Cisneros.

For 26 years, Marguerite worked as a waitress, connecting with people from all walks of life and always making others feel seen and welcomed. She was an adventurer at heart—always ready to jump in the car and go wherever the road might take her. She found joy in the little things, especially in colorful birds and ladybugs, both of which she loved dearly. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing bingo, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, of whom she was immensely proud.

Her greatest pride was her family, and she was a constant source of love, wisdom, and encouragement. She had a gentle heart and a fierce spirit, always pushing her children to become the best versions of themselves. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the memories she created, and the lives she touched.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held later that evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM.
