Maria E. Sanchez passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012 in New Braunfels at the age of 83. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Clara Espinoza; her beloved husband, Jose M. Sanchez, and by a son, Jose M. Sanchez, Jr. Survivors include her children, Mari Elena Kerkez and husband, Pete, Rosalinda Vorhis and husband, Ralph, Jose Guadalupe Sanchez and wife, Melinda, Margarita Behrendt and husband, Dwight, Rolando Sanchez and wife, Lisa, Lucille Cabrera and husband, Alejandro, Maria Amanda Corona and husband, Amado, Dagoberto Sanchez and wife, Rachel; brother, Valdemar Espinoza; sister, Petra Sanchez; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition, numerous nieces and nephews survive Maria as well. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 7, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. All services will end at the conclusion of the Funeral Mass. Private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Holy Family Catholic Church.
