Maria M. Bayona

Maria M. Bayona, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her residence at the age of 67. Maria was born on August 11, 1944 in Canton, Ohio to Felix Ortiz and Maria Aleman Ortiz. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her loving husband, Justino Vargas Bayona; children, Maria Alvarado, Bernardo Lopez, Jr., Felicia Santa and Christa Bayona; nine grandchildren; five sisters, Ramona, Tina, Vicky, Janie and Delores. In addition, Maria is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, followed by the Funeral Mass, which starts at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
