Marie Olivia Luna

Marie C. "Sweetie" Luna, 78, entered into the arms of her savior on Saturday September 7, 2013 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, New Braunfels, Texas. She was born on October 20, 1934 in Yorktown, Texas. Marie worked at Mission Valley Mills (West Pointe Pepperell) for many years as well as at the Wal-Mart store as a door greeter where she had so many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Yldefonso "Poncho" Luna. Survivors include her brother Robert "Bobby" Cisneros of Bloomington, Texas; brother-in-law Ramon Luna (Gloria) and sister-in-law Myrna L. Garza of New Braunfels, Texas; sister-in-law Virgie L. Campos (Victor) of Seguin, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved "Sweetie" dearly. A memorial service with a Mass will be held at 10A.M. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Holy Family Church 245 S. Hidalgo Ave., New Braunfels, Texas.
