Melanie "Suzy" Jaap

December 8, 1955 ~ July 21, 2020
Suzy Jaap peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 64. Suzy was born on December 8, 1955 in Houston to the late Charles and Lynn Dickens. Suzy graduated from Clear Lake High School, class of 1973. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Jaap and by her brother, Clint Dickens. Survivors include her daughter, Jessica Jaap; sisters, Christine of Rockport and Leslye of Spring Branch; brother, Paul Dickens of Rockport. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 24, 2020 at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Weimar.
My mom got her angle wings i will never forget how you would tell me story that i know but i pretend like i don’t know the story or never heard it before. I will never forget how you would make sure i knew how much you loved me. I will never forget how you would appreciate me coming and visiting once a week at the nusing home and give you stuff on your birthday. I will never forget that you let me miss school whenever I want to. I will never forget how much you try to embarrass me every time i had someone come with me to see you. I will never forget you always had a smile on your face i am going to miss you i will never forget how you would ask how my friends were doing too. I will never forget that you showed me how to do difference stuff growing up .It is is a inside joke between u (love your Adult child Jessica Jaap)
RIH Ms Suzy, you are now with Peter and Paul watching over Jessica. 3 guardian angels strong, I know she will be able to push forward in life knowing you are with them. Ty for always being such a sweet person.
