Mike M. Fuentes passed away on Monday evening, March 18, 2013 at his residence in San Antonio at the age of 85. Mr. Fuentes was born on January 20, 1928 in Pleasanton, TX to Augustine Fuentes and Reyes Martinez Fuentes. For many years Mike was employed at the Mission Valley Textile Mill. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alicia Moya Fuentes; parents; brother, Elias Fuentes and by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Trevino. Survivors include his daughters, Lupe Martinez, Avelinda Diaz, Alice Marie Trevino and husband, Fernando, Olivia Johnson and husband, Curtis and Melba Figueroa and husband, Erasmo; brothers, Jesse Fuentes and Augustine Fuentes, Jr.; sisters, Lilly Torres, Elvira Acosta and Mary Ann Gonzalez; 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church followed by the Funeral Mass, which starts at 1:00 PM . Please note: there will not be a procession from the funeral home to the church on Friday afternoon. All wishing to attend both the visitation and Funeral Mass are asked to meet at the church. Interment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. I only saw Mikey a couple of times, but enjoyed visiting with him. He will be missed and remembered fondly.
