Mr. Carmen "Melo" Moreno, Jr.

Carmen H. "Melo" Moreno, Jr., a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 45. Carmen was born on May 1, 1968 in New Braunfels to Carmelo Moreno and Delores Hernandez. For a number of years Carmen worked at Coleman Company in New Braunfels. Survivors include his children, Valerie Moreno, Delicia Medrano, Isaac Moreno and the mother of his children, Teresa Rodriguez; father, Carmelo Moreno and wife, Rosa; brothers, Frank, Ismael, Raul, Carmen, Juan Moreno and Jesse Russell; sisters, Janie Alanis, Patti Davila, Ann Lane and Jessica Hernandez; girlfriend, Nina Regalado. In addition, he is also survived by Maria Felan and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. All services will end at the conclusion of the visitation.
