Nancy Dolores Shamrock

Nancy D. Shamrock, age 89, and a resident of New Braunfels, passed away early Thursday morning, April 11, 2024, at Mercy House in New Braunfels. Nancy was born on October 29, 1934 in Tulia, TX to the late Floyd Omal DeBusk and Catherine Margaret Wojcik DeBusk. After a career spanning some 33 years, Nancy retired in 1991 as a civil service employee at Randolph Air Force Base. In addition, she was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where she proudly served with the St. Ann’s Christian Mothers.

Nancy was a very loving, caring and giving person. She had a very strong faith in God and gently gathered others to develop their own faith in God. She would help anyone who asked and supported others to meet their goals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Catherine DeBusk; brother, Paul Wayne DeBusk. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Shamrock Steward and Michele Shamrock (wife, Donna Preusser), and grandson (Patrick Aiden Steward);. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the LUX Funeral Home Chapel. All services will end at the conclusion of the funeral service Saturday morning.
