Natalia Farias Alonzo

Natalia Farias Alonzo, daughter of Francisca (Rocha) and Domingo Farias Jr., was born in Edinburg, TX on November 25, 1944. She passed away on February 13, 2024, surrounded in love by family. In her final weeks her loving cousin Diana Garza, her son Antonio Alonzo and her daughter Anna stayed by her side.

On February 27, 1960, Natalia was united in marriage to Gregorio A. Alonzo in Edinburg, TX. The couple migrated between Texas and Glyndon, MN for Greg’s work. In 1977, the family moved permanently to Glyndon. Natalia worked and volunteered for Dakota Boy’s Ranch Thrift Store for many years. She worked for Cavendish Farms and People Ready. She enjoyed family gatherings and watching The Price is Right, The Waltons, Rifle Man, Texas Ranger and anything with the Actor Steven Seagal.

Natalia is survived by her children; Gregorio Alonzo Jr. (Rosario) of Glyndon, MN, Antonio Alonzo of New Braunfels, TX, Anna Youngquist (Tim) of Moorhead, MN, Adan Alonzo (Anne) of Berlin, WI, 8 Grandchildren, 1 Step-Grandson, 7 Great-Grandchildren, her sisters; Elva Gutierrez of Edinburg, TX, Enriqueta Lozano (Ubaldo) of Edinburg, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Gregorio A. Alonzo, her companions George Mercado and Victor Reyna, her son Angel Alonzo and her grandson Little Angel Alonzo-Ramirez.
