Oralia M. Lopez, 66, of New Braunfels, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 29, 2015 in New Braunfels. Born on October 17, 1948 in Boerne, she was the daughter of the late Damcio and Lucinda Romero. In addition to her parents, Oralia was predeceased by her son Jose Rene Lopez, Sr. and her sister, Jesusa Espinosa. Oralia is survived by her husband, Jose D. Lopez; children, Jesus Lopez and his wife Marisa, Yvonne Lopez, and Carlos Lopez and his wife Lalani; grandchildren, Patricia Lopez, Mary Jane Roehrman and her husband Terry, Jose R. Lopez, Jr., Jesus Lopez, Jr., Audrey Lopez, and Lisa Lopez; brothers, George Romero and the late Mary Romero, and Vicente Romero, Sr. and his wife Gloria; sisters, Ramona Padilla and her husband Felipe, and Ruth Castilleja and her husband Santos. Also surviving are numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as her many brothers and sisters in Christ. A visitation will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 12:00-6:00 pm. The service be held from 6:30-7:30pm. The visitation will then resume until 8:30pm. All services will conclude Tuesday night.

We thought it was funny that there was another Oralia since it was a rare name! My prayer’s go out to the family. May God Almighty wrap His loving arms around y’all and bring you peace and comfort.
