Patrick Thomas Kulikowski, 68, of New Braunfels, TX died peacefully at home with his family close by.
Patrick was born November 10, 1955 in Kalamazoo, MI, the youngest son of Mike John Kulikowski and Margret Aliene (Thomas) Kulikowski.
He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene (Dennany) Kulikowski, married on September 25, 1976. He is also survived by his son, Jonathan (Tasha) Kulikowski (Alexander, Jayla, Kamryn, and Myka), and two daughters Kristy (Matthew) Modesitt (Tyler, Isiaq, Noah), and Jennifer (Christopher) Hatfield (Dominick, Colin, Blake, Allaina). He is also survived by his Brother Michael Kulikowski and Joyce (Kulikowski) Wehrwein. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother Mark Kulikowski.
Pat was an extra class ham amateur radio operator going by the call sign WG8V. Throughout his life, he made many friendships that lasted a lifetime. Pat was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Cremation is planned and a celebration of life will be held in Michigan at a date to be determined.

Pat, Amateur Radio Station WG8V, was an Elmer (a “guide” in Ham Radio speak) to me and to several others way back 35 years ago — helping us to study for, and earn, our Amateur Radio Licenses.
Our young families loved to Camp – at places like Ft Custer, the annual Ham Radio “Hamvention” in Dayton, OH, and Mitchell State Park up in Cadillac, MI.
Kids would play, Wives would visit, and the guys would “play radio” — setting up portable Ham Radio Stations in the trees and talking all over the world.
Pat was active in the two local Ham Radio clubs – he had the highest grade of license – and was eager to help others install antennae, study for, and pass the requisite exams.
He was a local voice and personality on the local Ham Radio Repeater — which covered a 30-mile radius – and which was a local “hang out” for his/our buddies.
It’s hard to think that I’ve know the Kulikowski family for so many years – yet have been separated by miles for so many years.
In Ham Radio Speak, he’s become a Silent Key — a term of endearment “earned” when one’s radio Morse Code Key goes silent.
So, 73 to my good/old friend WG8V/SK, I look for seeing you “down the log”.
And my deepest and warmest wishes go to Char and all the family.

Pat was a bright spot…especially in choir! He always had a corny joke, a kind word, and a funny story. He made me smile, and always made me feel better about being in a place I didn’t want to be! His friendship, happy demeanor, and “can do” attitude was such a blessing! I know he is in Heaven telling stories and making everyone laugh! Char and family, including Michael and Joyce…we are so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. It has been many years since we have visited with Pat, but certainly enjoyed his company…he got me started in computers many many years ago…he now rests in peace with our Lord.
