It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Lester “Bud” DePierro Jr. Ralph was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 16, 1935. Ralph served in the Air Force for 27 years and retired as a Sr. Master Sergeant. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ann, his children Geoff, Janice, Gary, Philip, Michele, Lynne, and Tony, 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Ralph loved trains and spent many years volunteering at the New Braunfels Railroad Museum. He also enjoyed his weekly bowling leagues and playing cribbage.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the New Braunfels Railroad Museum, PO Box 310475, New Braunfels, TX 78130.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with the Rosary at 7:00pm at Lux Funeral Home 1254 N. Business IH 35, New Braunfels, TX 78130. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 10am at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 386 Castell Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130.

    We were sad to hear of your loss. We didn’t really get to know him except for the last lunch with the Chorale. We enjoyed reading about his life and family. I know he will be missed.
