Ramon C. “Casper” Castilleja, Jr., a resident of Milwaukee, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at his home in Milwaukee at the age of 46. Ramon, affectionately known as Casper, was born on December 10, 1970 in San Marcos, TX to Ramon H. Castilleja, Sr. and Irma Cerda Castilleja. Casper worked as an automobile mechanic for most of his working life. Casper will always be remembered for his humor. He was truly a happy person who loved a good bar-b-que! He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sylvia Y. Castilleja. Survivors include his loving parents, Ramon and Irma Castilleja; sister, Tina Romero and husband, Rolando; nephew, Rolando Fabian Romero, step-daughters, Sandi Lopez and Lisa Mulato. In addition, Casper is also survived by numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM on Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will continue from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Tuesday morning, October 17, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. A reception will immediately follow at St. Marys Hall of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. All services will end at the conclusion of the reception.

  2. My most sincere condolences go out to Ramon Sr.,Irma,Tina and Rolando. I had the pleasure of meeting Ray over a year ago. We worked out hung out alot over that time. He was a jolly dude. I can’t remember ever seeing him mad. He made friends easily because he wasn’t shy about talking to strangers. He’ll be missed here in Milwaukee. May he be in the glory of God.
